projects

I have built across multiple engineering domains to turn concepts into field ready systems.

Built and managed a 32 GPU Bitcoin mining system to learn large scale hardware, power management, and troubleshooting under load. This project started my interest in engineering and is now being converted into a GPU cluster for AI work.

Supported the development of an autonomous data collection vessel designed to map environmental conditions in Chesapeake Bay. Worked on navigation, sensing, and early AI prediction models, contributing to progress that helped secure a Coast Guard grant.

Maintained and developed a full scale research vessel used as a shared test platform for navigation, sensing, and mission computer experiments. This role allowed me to support multiple engineering groups and apply ArduPilot across diverse hardware systems.

Developed a low cost drone and rover pair that share a unified ArduPilot control stack. This system demonstrates how inexpensive COTS hardware can support synchronized autonomous operations across air and ground.

Currently building an FPGA based mission control box for a steerable rocket designed for counter drone research. The system handles guidance logic, telemetry, and mission states, with plans to collaborate with the UMD Rocketry Club for future testing.

I like joining teams where I can learn from others, contribute to practical engineering problems, and explore new areas of hardware software integration.
